Support the Post Bank
The idea behind the Post Bank is really simple - there are currently 3 million people without basic bank accounts in the UK - and the Post Office has more branches than all of the banks combined. So we’re proposing that we roll out banking services into local communities - turning our backs on the Bankers that got us into this mess, rebuilding the trust that we all used to have in the Banks and giving the vulnerable access to safe and high quality banking.
But the Government's plan to privatise our post threatens all of this. By scaling back service and increasing prices, they’ll cut off the lifeblood that’s crucial to the success of the Post Bank.
