Five questions

The cross-party Business & Enterprise Select Committee has issued a detailed report on the government’s Postal Services Bill. The Committee, made of MPs from all parties specialising in business policy, unanimously concluded that the Royal Mail sell-off was not “necessary or desirable”. They listed a number of questions that the government has failed to answer in its case for the privatisation. The MPs on this committee are right to call for a halt to the sell off process. But we need to convince the whole House of Commons to vote down the Bill if Peter Mandelson tries to push it through. Email your MP now and ask them the unanswered questions.
