What Makes the Public Post Special? A Personal Touch
"One morning around 0700, my doorbell rang. It was a Royal Mail postie with a parcel for me. He said 'I was told to come early, before you went out to work'".
The above words are from Evelyn Kerr, from Midlothian in Scotland. Like so many others, she is concerned that the "fantastic, personal service" she currently receives will soon be consigned to history.
